Summary:
In the Adirondack region of New York, studies were carried out in order to test the unusually high amount of ionic contaminants in local streams. The acidification of these streams was tested for future impacts. The experiment results seemed to vary widely from year to year, making them overall inconsistent.
Comments:
~PH was usually between 4.0 and 4.5
~results were not always consist. Many different ions were found, especially dissolved organic carbon.
